<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stricke a balance between a releasing function of air in a constant velocity joint to the outside and an infiltration suppressing function of water into the constant velocity joint, by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The constant velocity joint has an outer ring member 10, an inner ring member 20, a shaft member 30, a bearing unit 40, an annular boot 50 in which a boot large diameter part 51 is fixed to the outer ring member 10 and a boot small diameter part 52 is fastened to the shaft member 30 by a boot band 70, an annular dust cover 60 shielding the annular opening part 48 of the bearing unit 40 while arranging the annular gap space 49 and preventing dust from infiltrating into a bearing 41, in the dust cover 60 one side is fitted to a stopper piece 42 and the other side is commonly fastened and fixed to the shaft member 30 along with the boot small diameter part 52 by the boot band 70, an ventilation channel 66 for ventilating the opening part of the outer ring member 10 and the annular gap space 49 is formed in the dust cover 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
