<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object position detector capable of detecting a position of an object while reducing an influence of noise. <P>SOLUTION: An object position detector includes: an acoustic wave input part 10 for inputting a regular noise and an acoustic wave including an object-generated sound generated from an object existing in the surrounding area; a direction estimation part 22 for calculating a plurality of direction estimation values which indicate a direction of the object on the basis of the acoustic wave for each unit time; a quantification processing part 23 for preparing first quantification data by quantifying the direction estimation value for each direction; a quantification data storage part 31 for storing second quantification data as data in which the direction estimation value based on the regular noise is quantified for each direction; a subtraction processing part 24 for preparing third quantification data as data in which the direction estimation value based on the object-generated sound is quantified for each direction by subtracting the second quantification data from the first quantification data; and a direction detector 25 for detecting the direction of the object from the third quantification data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
