<p>The invention relates to the field of construction and is intended for cladding the jambs of windows, doors and other apertures in rooms and buildings. The jamb cladding profile comprises two cladding elements (1) connected by one end face (2) at an angle corresponding to the angle formed by the surfaces of the jamb that is to be clad, the profile abutting said surfaces with its rear face (3), wherein each cladding element comprises a flat section (4), the rear face (3) of which abuts the surface of the jamb that is to be clad, a lateral section (5) having a flat part (6) that is connected to the lateral face (7) of the flat section (4), a part (8) that has a rounded cross-section and curves outwards in the direction of the front face (9) of the profile, and a fastening section (10) for attachment to the wall adjacent to the jamb, said fastening section being disposed on the rear face (3) side of the profile and being connected by one face to the flat section (4) and the lateral section (5) at the point at which the two are joined, wherein a gap (12) is provided between the fastening section (10) and the rounded part (8) of the lateral section (5) so as to be capable of accommodating the assembled cladding profile, and the other end faces (13, 14) of the flat section (4) and the lateral section (5) respectively are provided with at least one protruding mounting element which can be connected to other cladding profiles.</p> |
