摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of display quality due to a load fluctuation in an electro-optical display device. <P>SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a plurality of pixel switching elements 136 that enables application of pixel voltage to pixels included in a pixel column corresponding to one scan line 135 through a data line 134 in response to application of selection voltage to the one scan line 135; a voltage generation part 300 that monotonously changes sampling voltage that can be supplied to a plurality of data lines during a period in which selection voltage is applied to one scan line; and a data line switch 133 that turns on/off a supply of sampling voltage of to a scan line drive circuit 120 that applies selection voltage to sequentially selected one scan line, and the data line.
