<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply producing pitavastatin calcium from pitavastatin acetonide as a raw material. <P>SOLUTION: The method for industrially producing pitavastatin calcium comprises removing an acetonide protection group of pitavastatin acetonide as a raw material by one pot reaction, performing an ester hydrolysis reaction with an alkali solution to convert it free pitavastatin, intactly using the reaction solution containing the free pitavastatin to convert it into pitavastatin phenylethylamine salt, subjecting it to a salt exchange into potassium salt, and further subjecting it to a salt exchange into the calcium salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
