<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly transmit information to a portable terminal of a viewer from a television receiver corresponding to data broadcasting, with the data broadcasting as a starting point. <P>SOLUTION: When a server receives viewer ID from a portable terminal of a viewer, the server determines portable terminal ID corresponding to the viewer ID, and stores it in a database. When the server receives the viewer ID from a television receiver, it refers to the database, acquires the portable terminal ID corresponding to the viewer ID and transmits it to the television receiver. When the viewer operates the television receiver and gives a transmission request of a message including access information, the television receiver transmits the message, the television receiver ID, and at least one of the viewer ID and the portable terminal ID of the viewer to the server. The server transmits the received message to the portable terminal corresponding to at least one ID.
