RECEPTION METHOD AND RECEIVER OF RADIO SIGNAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the extraction effect of a desired signal in a selective fading environment if an interference signal is received in a receiver which improves communication quality.

SOLUTION: A reception method improves a signal quality of a desired wave by controlling the filter coefficients of analog filters about which a plurality of delay elements and a plurality of multiplication elements multiplying the filter coefficient are respectively connected to a plurality of reception antennas. The reception method comprises the steps of: estimating an impulse response between an antenna transmitting a desired signal and a reception antenna before reception processing; calculating a filter coefficient vector comprised of a plurality of filter coefficients of the plurality of analog filters by use of the estimated impulse response; and performing weighting processing to received signals input from respective reception antennas by the calculated filter coefficient vector. The reception method is characterized by calculating the filter coefficient by minimizing a prescribed relational expression under a prescribed condition.
