The purpose of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display device that can suppress the occurrence of display defects such as flicker while remaining small size. A liquid crystal display device of the present invention has a wiring (4) that is connected to an electrode (9) that supplies a common signal. The electrode (9) includes a first electrode portion (50) formed in a transparent conductive layer. The wiring (4) is disposed outside of a display region (8) and includes a first wiring portion (1) and/or a second wiring portion (2), and a third wiring portion (3) that faces the first wiring portion (1) and/or the second wiring portion (2).
