When the pressure detected by a pressure sensor, which is connected to a calibration reference cell, is continuously within a prescribed calibration period pressure range for a prescribed calibration time, zero point calibration is made based on the pressure value detected by the pressure sensor. Multiple cells are allowed to communicate and, based on the pressure value detected by the pressure sensor connected to the calibration reference cell, the internal pressures of the multiple cells are adjusted to a specified internal pressure value. The respective pressure sensors connected to the multiple cells are calibrated on the basis of the adjusted internal pressure. A mattress, etc. is thereby provided for which efficient zero point calibration is possible by performing similar zero point calibrations without opening the pressure sensor of each cell to atmospheric pressure even when the mattress is configured from multiple systems. |
