The present application relates to organopolysiloxane and to the use thereof. One exemplary organopolysiloxane exhibits superior processability and workability, and exhibits, when used as an encapsulant, excellent light extraction efficiency, crack resistance, hardness, thermal shock resistance and adhesiveness. The organopolysiloxane of the present invention may provide an encapsulant or the like which exhibits stable reliability for endurance over a long period of time under hard conditions and prevents cloudiness and stickiness in a surface of the encapsulant.
