PURPOSE: A display device is provided to omit a light guide plate by forming a reflecting sheet facing an optical sheet. CONSTITUTION: A reflecting sheet(400) is arranged under an optical sheet and faces the optical sheet. The reflecting sheet includes a reflecting layer and a diffraction pattern. A display panel is arranged on the optical sheet. A light source(200) radiates light between the optical sheet and the reflecting sheet. The diffraction pattern of the reflecting sheet diffracts the light of the light source.
