PURPOSE: A range finder using the number of image pixels, a golf assistance device using the same, a range finding method using the number of image pixels, and a golf assistance method using the same are provided to easily carry the device and measure a distance by measuring the distance by using the number of the image pixels. CONSTITUTION: A photographing unit(20) photographs an image of a target(10). A pixel number extracting unit(30) extracts pixel number information from image information of the target. A constant value determining unit(40) determines a reference constant value based on the pixel number information of the target. A distance calculating unit(50) calculates an actual distance of the target based on the reference constant value.
