A POWER CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD USING ZIGBEE

PURPOSE: A power control device using zigbee communication and a method thereof are provided to block power in a user seat when the user gets off a work. CONSTITUTION: When a card combining zigbee held by a user approaches to a zigbee AP(Access Point), the zigbee AP deducts a zigbee MAC(Medium Access Control) address. The Zigbee AP transmits the deducted zigbee MAC address to a remote controller(140). The remote controller searches a user point corresponding to the zigbee MAC address from a stored address-point corresponding to zigbee MAC address.
