<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device including a sealing layer which has hardness and durability as a light-emitting element protective material and brings high light extraction efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device includes a light-emitting element (1) and a sealing layer (2).
