<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an optimum soft decision bit in a MIMO-OFDM transmission system using linear filtering. <P>SOLUTION: In a MIMO-OFDM transmission system, a signal having a channel estimation reference signal multiplexed into a user data transmission modulation signal which has been coded for error correction is received, and a MIMO channel matrix and noise power density are estimated on the basis of a reference signal portion of the received signal. Signal separation and composition per transmission layer is executed by linear spatial filtering of the MIMO channel matrix, and a reception SINR in each transmission layer is calculated for each OFDM subcarrier on the basis of the MIMO channel matrix and the noise power density. A channel logarithmic likelihood ratio per transmission layer is calculated for each bit on the basis of the separated/combined reception signal and a transmission signal candidate point, and soft decision error correction decoding is executed by using a channel logarithmic likelihood ratio weighted by the reception SINR. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
