<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load control device, etc. which generates arc discharge at a contact terminal of a power supply control relay to prevent the formation of an oxide film. <P>SOLUTION: In a load control device, a plurality of switch elements, which are respectively controlled by control means (9) between a power source and a reference potential, include at least a pre-stage power source control relay (2) which controls on/off of power supply from the power source and a subsequent stage load control switch element (4) which controls supply of current to a load, the plurality of switch elements being successively connected in series together with the load. Between the power source control relay and the load control switch element does the load control device have an arc generation circuit (3, 10, 11) inserted therein which generates arc by letting an inrush current flow into the power source control relay. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
