At least one of a clutch (C) and a brake (B), which are a plurality of engaging elements, is a second clutch (C2) which is a meshing-type engaging element. As a result of at least a portion of the second clutch (C2) being provided on the inner peripheral side of a second one-way clutch (F2) and a third clutch (C3), which are other engaging elements, it is possible to minimize other configuration design changes when arranging the meshing-type engaging element, and to reduce the total length of the automatic transmission (10) as much as possible. |
