PURPOSE: A rights expression processing method in an electronic book copyright protection system and an electronic book reading device applying the same are provided to improve user convenience by enabling a user to read electronic books through a favorite electronic book reading device. CONSTITUTION: A rights expression processing module location confirmation unit(210) confirms a rights expression processing module existed in the location information by confirming the location information of a rights expression processing module(142-146). When the rights expression processing module is not existed in the location information, a right expression processing module download unit(240) downloads the rights expression processing module by using the download location information of the rights expression processing module stored in the electronic book. A rights expression processing module loading unit(230) loads the confirmed or downloaded rights expression processing module.
