PURPOSE: A system for automatically controlling a pump according to a flow rate and elapsed time is provided to enable to discharge pooled water by automatically operating the pump after a predetermined period, thereby preventing the pooled water from being decomposed. CONSTITUTION: A system for automatically controlling a pump according to a flow rate and elapsed time comprises a water level sensor(10), a timer(20), a memory(30), a microcomputer(40), a drive(50), a pump(60), a camera(70), and a comparator(80). The water level sensor senses the water level of a rainwater pump station. The timer generates signals at a predetermined cycle period. The memory records information transmitted by the water level sensor and the timer and reference information set in advance. The microcomputer receives the signals transmitted by the water level sensor and the timer when the water level reaches a predetermined level or predetermined time elapses, thereby transmitting operation signals by comparing signals with the reference information recorded in the memory. The drive receives the operation signals of the microcomputer, thereby operating.
