<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial robot that, even when transporting a high-temperature transportation object in a vacuum, can suppress wear and damage to a bearing and suppress arm deformation. <P>SOLUTION: This industrial robot includes a bearing 59 that supports an arm at a joint section 20 serving as a coupling section between the arm and a body section 7. At the joint section 20, the arm includes a first protrusion 48 that protrudes towards the body section 7, and the body section 7 includes a first accepting section 49 at which a first recess is formed that accepts the first protrusion 48. The first protrusion 48 and first accepting section 49 are formed from a material having a higher heat conductivity than that of the bearing 59, and a semi-solid heat conductive material having a higher heat conductivity than the bearing 59 is disposed in the first recess. Also, the body section 7 includes: a heat dissipation section 51 that is formed from a material having a higher heat conductivity than the bearing 59 and that is disposed in the atmosphere; and a connection section 50 that is formed from a material having a higher heat conductivity than the bearing 59, and that connects the first accepting section 49 and the heat dissipation section 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
