<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic latent image development that suppresses the occurrence of an image defect in a formed image caused by passing of toner in a cleaning unit and an image defect in a formed image such as dropout, and prevents an image density of a formed image from decreasing to be lower than a desired value even in the case of printing at a low printing rate for a long period, and to provide a manufacturing method of the toner for electrostatic latent image development. <P>SOLUTION: A toner for electrostatic latent image development contains at least colorant, a charge control agent, and a mold release agent in a binder resin, and is a pulverized toner. An average circularity of particles having a primary particle size in a range of 3 to 10 μm is 0.960 to 0.980, and for a number of toner particles having a recess with an outer diameter of 200 nm or larger that are observed in a predetermined condition, a number ratio of 100 toner particles that are observation objects is 10% by number or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
