<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ontology construction support device that enables a reduction in burden on a constructor and is capable of supporting efficient construction of ontology, and provide a program for the same and a computer-readable recording medium recording the program. <P>SOLUTION: An ontology construction support device is a device for supporting construction of procedure decomposition tree based on ontology, and comprises input means 1, storage means 2, node generation means 3 including procedure node generation means, and display means 4. The input means 1 inputs a sentence with a description of a fulfillment relationship between a whole procedure and a partial procedure row with respect to work. The storage means 2 stores the input sentence. The node generation means 3 includes the procedure node generation means, and the procedure node generation means extracts a verb showing an action from the sentence, generates a node corresponding to it as a procedure node and provides the extracted verb to the procedure node.
