<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device whose main and bending sheaves have vertical dimensions enough to obtain desired traction. <P>SOLUTION: A passenger cage 12 and a balance weight 13 are arranged in a hoisting path 11 in such a way that they can be hoisted, and a winding machine having a main sheave 17 is provided in a machine room 16 arranged above a ceiling 15 of the hoisting path 11. A rope 18 penetrating the ceiling 15 for connecting the passenger cage 12 and the balance weight 13 is wound to and hung on the main sheave 17, and the passenger cage 12 and the balance weight 13 suspended by the rope 18 are mutually hoisted by the rotation of the main sheave 17. A bending sheave 19 for leading the rope 18 wound to and hung on the main sheave 17 to the passenger cage 12 or the balance weight 13 is provided in the hoisting path 11 to increase an angle of winding and hanging on the main sheave 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
