<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement structure for a spent fuel rack that enables simplification and low cost of the structure and appropriate improvement of earth quake proof of the spent fuel rack. <P>SOLUTION: A spent fuel rack 32 is provided with horizontal support members 41, 42 installed in an upper portion of the spent fuel rack 32, and a vertical support member 43 piercing through the horizontal support members 41, 42 to extend upward and downward from the members 41, 42 and inserted at a lower portion thereof into a cell 32a of the spent fuel rack 32. Ends of the horizontal support members 41, 42 are in contact with a wall face 31b of a spent fuel pool 31 so as to restrict horizontal movements of the horizontal support members 41, 42 relative to the spent fuel pool 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
