<p>Plasma expressor manual top and bottom is an equipment used for separating plasma and buffy coat removed red blood cells. It is useful for all types of blood component bag. It is a mechanical device, which exerts uniform pressure on the blood bag during the separation of components. The plasma expressor includes a pressure plate (1), a handle hook (3), a rubber sheet (4), stainless steel springs (5), a steel rod (6), a expressor body (7) and a hanger (8). The current automated expressor is costly and requires maintenance. As no electrical components are used in this device, the manual top and bottom expressor is cheaper and requires no maintenance.</p> |
