摘要 The micro-optical system for the formation of visual images claimed as invention is, primarily, a device that serves to establish the authenticity of products. It can be efficiently used to protect bank notes, securities, documents, plastic cards, and various consumer goods against counterfeit. The micro-optical system in accordance with the invention consists of a flat base with a single layer flat optical element, which is subdivided into elementary domains, which are visible for an observer and have predetermined color at normal view position. In each elementary domain a flat optical phase element is synthesized, which has the asymmetrical direction pattern of the radiation reflected so, that the color image, seen by an observer at normal view position of the micro-optical system, becomes matt and disappears by turning the micro-optical system through 180 degrees. The claimed micro-optical system forms new visual security feature to be seen by 180 degrees rotation. The claimed combination of the essential features of the invention ensures the achievement of the technical result that consists in increasing the reliability of the visual control of products protected using this invention by creating the easy to control visual effect, and also in reducing the availability of manufacturing techniques of these security protection tools. The micro-optical system for the formation of visual images can be produced using available standard equipment.
