<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for designing the arrangement considering an insulation distance from fire protection case peripheral components in a capacitor cover composed of conductive metal plates. <P>SOLUTION: A capacitor cover of this invention is formed by a fire-retardant resin into a shape formed along a shell of an electrolytic capacitor so as to cover a top surface and a side surface of the electrolytic capacitor with an explosion-proof valve. The shape is composed of a top surface part and a side surface part and has a rib shaped contact part for securing a space required for operation of the explosion-proof valve of the electrolytic capacitor therein. The side surface part is formed having a length so as to have a portion overlapping with a side surface of the electrolytic capacitor.
