<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for strengthening a housing that can enhance the strength of a housing, and a housing made by the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for strengthening the housing includes the following steps of: preparing the housing of a sapphire material; spraying the housing of a temperature of 480-550°C using a spray solution containing potassium nitrate, potassium silicate, diatomite and water to form a reinforced film layer containing a potassium ion on a surface of the housing; and continuously spraying to the housing until the temperature of the housing falls down to a room temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
