<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of performing charge sharing in a short period of time through a charge storage section assigned to each data line group and also to provide a driving method of the display device. <P>SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a display panel 10 that displays an image corresponding to a plurality of data signals transmitted via a plurality of data lines; a data driving section 30 that drives the plurality of data lines; a timing controller 40 that controls driving timing of the data driving section; and a charge sharing section 50 that includes a first charge storage section 52 assigned to a first data line group among the plurality of data lines and a second charge storage section 53 assigned to a second data line group, and that performs charging and discharging operations selectively between the first data line group, the second data line group, the first charge storage section and the second charge storage section according to the control by the timing controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
