A single fibre device, including a first photo diode (2) for receiving incident light (21), a laser diode (3) for emitting emergent light (31), and a co-wavelength optical splitter (1) having a positive direction. The co-wavelength optical splitter (1) includes a first birefringent plate (11), a half wave plate (12), a 45° Faraday rotating plate (13) and a second birefringent plate (14) the same as the first birefringent plate (11) which are provided in the positive direction and perpendicular to the positive direction. The included angle between the optical axis of the first birefringent plate (11) and the positive direction is alpha, 0° < alpha < 90°, and the angle between the e axis of the half wave plate (12) and the main cross section of the first birefringent plate (11) is beta, beta = 22.5° or beta = 67.5°. The incident light (21) passes through the co-wavelength optical splitter (1) in the positive direction; and the emergent light (31) passes through the co-wavelength optical splitter (1) in a direction opposite to the positive direction, and the emergent light (31) is linearly polarized light, the polarization direction of which is perpendicular to the main cross section of the first birefringent plate (11). The single fibre device realizes theoretical and bidirectional lossless transmission of co-wavelength single fibre and achieves larger transmitting optical power and reception sensitivity. |
