<p>This touch panel device (1) is provided with: a display unit with an upward-facing display surface (20); an image display unit which displays an object image (P) upon the display surface (20); a designated position detection unit which detects the positions at which three or more fingers (F) make tactile contact with or approach the display surface (20) as designated positions; an image identification unit for identifying the object image (P) displayed at the designated positions; an estimation unit which, on the basis of positional relationships between the designated positions corresponding to each of the three or more fingers (F), estimates the position of the operator whom the fingers (F) belong to; and a display modification unit which modifies the display state of the object image (P) so that the orientation of the object image (P) is an orientation that has been set beforehand for the estimated position of the operator.</p> |
