<p>[Problem] To provide a delivery management method that is based on conservation of resources, conservation of energy, ecology, and the like. [Solution] Host computers (10, 20) are equipped with: a selection step (S103) wherein, when a product order is received from a terminal device, a selection with regard to the product packaging is made, said selection being between a packaging mode that involves a cardboard box and a packaging mode that involves a return box which goes back-and-forth between the delivery destination and a product delivery center, without the use of a cardboard box; an assignment step (S111) wherein, when the packaging mode involving a return box has been selected with a selection screen, the return box, as well as the collection location of the delivery company for which the delivery destination of the product is included in the geographical region, are assigned; a storage step (S115) wherein the product is stored in the assigned return box within the product delivery center; a delivery step (S116) wherein the return box is delivered from the product delivery center; and a return step (S119) wherein, after the return box has been delivered, the return box is returned to the product delivery center.</p> |
