PURPOSE: A chain block with a built-in gear is provided to lift heavy objects being hung on a traction chain because a driven external gear or a driven internal gear can rotate at a high speed. CONSTITUTION: A chain block with a built-in gear comprises a housing(10), an engagement hook(11), a traction hook(12), a traction chain(13), a winding assembly(20), and a driven external gear(60). The engagement hook is installed on the top of the housing. The traction hook hangs on heavy objects and is fixed on the traction chain. The traction chain is wound on the winding assembly. The winding assembly is installed inside the housing. The driven external gear is installed on the side wall of the housing.
