EXPLOSION PREVENTION TYPE SMOKE DETECTOR HAVING BARRIER

PURPOSE: An explosion-proof type smoke detector which has a barrier is provided to prevent an explosion accident due to electrical sparks by implementing electrical and structural characteristics to achieve safety of an explosion-proof area by detecting the smoke in the explosion-proof area rapidly. CONSTITUTION: A PCB power control part(25) is installed in a cover sealed to a combining hole(11) in a front center of a body(10). A smoke sensing unit is installed in an internal dark room(31) and senses smoke with a light emitting part and a light detection part(37). The smoke sensing unit is installed in a cap(30). A plate type barrier(40) which has a relay function is formed on the rear of the PCB power control part in the body. The PCB power control part blocks power supply of the system by driving the barrier when the light intensity detected by the light detection part is lower than reference light intensity.
