Disclosed are a metadata processing method and device, and a Content Delivery Network (CDN) intercommunicating system, applied to processing metadata in a CDN intercommunicating scenario. The method according to the embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first CDN obtaining first metadata sent by a Content Provider (CP); the first CDN generating second metadata on the basis of the first metadata and a policy of the first CDN, the second metadata comprising delivery parameters of the first metadata and the second metadata, the delivery parameter of the second metadata comprising a delivery manner parameter, and the delivery manner parameter being used for indicating a delivery manner of the second metadata; and the first CDN delivering the second metadata to a second CDN according to the delivery manner indicated by the delivery manner parameter.
