<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator with a heat-resistant insulating layer capable of avoiding problems incident to increase in the amount of adsorbed water of a separator sufficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The separator with a heat-resistant insulating layer includes a porous base body, and a heat-resistant insulating layer formed on one or both sides of the porous base body and containing at least one kind of inorganic particles and at least one kind of binder. The content mass ratio of the inorganic particles and the binder, i.e., the inorganic particles:binder=99:1-85:15, the BET specific surface area is 3-50 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g, and 0.0001<moisture content per binder mass(mass%)/BET specific surface area of inorganic particles (m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g)<2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
