<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free university system that can collect audience fees with relative ease and does not oblige members of the audience to pay wastefully even if the persons having planned, organized and drafted the lectures the system offers are not celebrities who can attract a large audience. <P>SOLUTION: In a free university system having a server and terminals connected to the server via a network, the server comprises a first display unit that displays an interface screen on the terminals, an arithmetic unit and a recording unit. The arithmetic unit realizes lecture handling means and audience serving means having the interface screen as their operational screen by executing computer-readable programs; the lecture handling means accepts lecture data of multiple (n) sessions, n being the total number of lectures, and records them into the recording unit, and sets the audience fee for the lectures from the second and subsequent sessions; and the audience serving means provides the first lecture free of charge in response to a request for making the first lecture available to audience and makes the second and subsequent sessions available to audience for the set audience fee. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
