摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress destabilization of a voltage applied to a motor during battery-less traveling control. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicle including an engine, motor, generator, and battery electrically connected to a motor and a generator, when the battery fails, an ECU separates the battery from the motor and the generator and carries out "battery-less traveling control" under which a throttle opening rate of the engine is feedback controlled so that the rotating speed of the engine becomes a target rotating speed of the engine as the generator is caused to generate power with which the motor is driven to cause the vehicle to run. During the battery-less traveling control (YES at S20), if a vehicle speed V exceeds a reference vehicle speed Vsh (YES at S24), the ECU executes a process of enhancing the responsiveness of the feedback control of the throttle opening rate of the engine (S25), thereby suppresses collapse of power generation/consumption balance between the generator and the motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
