<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that includes a pixel circuit that can be driven with a small-scale external peripheral circuit and also has a simplified manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting pixel of a display device 1 includes an organic EL element 14, a current driving transistor 21 with a drain connected to a power line PS, a capacitor 22 for holding Vgs of the current driving transistor 21, a switch transistor 23 to bring the capacitor 22 and a data line DT into conduction, a switch transistor 24 to bring the capacitor 22 and an initialization power line PI into conduction, a current switch transistor 11 that brings a current path for feeding the current driven with the current driving transistor 21 to the organic EL element 14 into conduction or interrupts it, and a selection transistor 13 that brings a capacitor 12 for holding Vgs of the current switch transistor 11, a gate of the current switch transistor 11 and the data line DT into conduction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
