<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a large steering angle of an in-wheel motor drive wheel. <P>SOLUTION: The suspension of a wheel 1 driven by an in-wheel motor unit 2 is performed by an upper arm 6, a lower arm 7, a third link 8, and a shock absorber 9 through the case 4 of the unit 2. The inner base ends 6a and 7a of the arms 6 and 7 in the width direction of the vehicle are supported by the vehicle body in a vertically swingable manner. The free end 6b of the arm 6 is pivotally supported in a vertically swingable manner at the upper end of the link 8, and the lower end of the link 8 is pivotally supported by the piston rod 9a of the shock absorber 9 in a swingable manner. The upper fixation seat 11 of the case 4 is mounted to the link 8 so that can swing about the kingpin axis Kp, and the lower fixation seat 12 of the case 4 is mounted to the free end 7b of the lower arm 7 so that can swing about the kingpin axis Kp.
