<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog display device which shortens a standby time when fast forwarding a pointer. <P>SOLUTION: An analog display device includes: multiple pointers having a same rotation axis; drive means which moves the pointers independently by respective predetermined angles in a forward direction or in a reverse direction; fast-forward setting means which sets fast-forward directions for the pointers, respectively, on the basis of fast-forward information; first drive control means which outputs, to the drive means, drive signals for first pointers at respective fast-forward speeds in the forward direction until the first pointers with fast forward set in the forward direction reach respective movement target positions; and second drive control means which outputs, to the drive means, drive signals for second pointers at respective fast-forward speeds in the reverse direction until the second pointers with fast forward set in the reverse direction reach respective movement target positions. The fast-forward setting means sets, from among pointer positions that satisfy a relative positional relation of the pointers based on absolute positions thereof that are specified in fast-forwarded pointers' position information obtained as the fast-forward information, pointer positions to which the pointers can be fast forwarded in a shorter time than being fast forwarded to absolute positions thereof, as the movement target positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
