<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency separation pipe joint, with which connection is released when an excessive separating force is applied, and reconnection can not be established. <P>SOLUTION: The emergency separation pipe joint has a locking member 16 for locking a male type member 14 in a female type member 12. The locking member 16 is urged by a spring member 18 to the back of the female type member 12, and if an excessive force for separating the male type member 14 from the female type member 12 forward is applied, is displaced forward against the spring member 18 to release locking of the male type member 14. A locking member securing member 20 is provided inside the locking member 16, and is moved forward relative to the locking member 16 when the male type member 14 is drawn out from the female type member 12, and causes a locking element 16-1 of the locking member 16 to be held between a locking element release recessed part 12-2 of the female type member 12 and a securing recessed part 20-4 of the locking element securing member 20, so that the locking element securing member 20 and the locking element 16-1 cannot be displaced backward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
