<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low expansion glass whose base material is an inorganic material having a low thermal expansion coefficient and which is effectively used for forming a glassy coating film having functions such as decoration, insulation, rust prevention and the like and to provide a pasty glass composition which is suitable for forming the glassy coating film on the inorganic material. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the low expansion glass having a composition of 30-50 wt.% SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 10-35 wt.% ZnO, 10-20 wt.% B<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 5-10 wt.% Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O and 10-20 wt.% Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>in terms of oxides; and the pasty glass composition where solid powders including the powders of the low expansion glass are dispersed in an organic vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
