<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech enhancement device, a speech enhancement method and a speech enhancement program that can stably enhance speech recognition. <P>SOLUTION: A speech enhancement device 2 in the invention includes a noise component kurtosis estimation unit 27, a mixed-signal kurtosis estimation unit 28, a speech component kurtosis estimation unit 29, a memory 24 for storing kurtosis tables, a subtraction coefficient application device 31, and a noise subtraction unit 12.
