<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress vibration of a headrest during a normal operation while ensuring support performance for an occupant when a collision occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A support bracket 36 made of metal for mounting a headrest 40 is arranged in such a positional relation that an upper frame 32 of a seat back frame and a reinforcing member 35 disposed parallel to and below the upper frame 32 are across over the front face of the bracket. The support bracket 36 has a tubular body where a stay 41 of the headrest 40 is inserted to be supported, in which a body lower part 36b is fixed to the front face of the reinforcing member 35 while a body upper part 36a is not fixed to the upper frame 32. By decreasing support stiffness of the headrest 40, resonance with a floor panel can be suppressed; whereas in case of collision that imparts a backward force F2 to the headrest 40, the support bracket 36 tilts backward around the body lower part 36b and the body upper part 36a abuts the rear upper frame 32, maintaining stiffness to support the occupant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
