<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle disk brake which can surely support the internal face of a friction pad in a disk radial direction by using a friction pad support of a retainer. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of friction pad accommodation walls 3g, 3g parallel with disk-inside/outside directions are formed at an operation part 3a of a caliper body 3, and a torque receiving face 3i is formed at the friction pad accommodation wall 3g. A friction pad 7 is accommodated between the friction pad accommodation walls 3g, 3g via the retainer 8. The retainer 8 has: a retainer part 8a laid on the torque receiving face 3i; a protrusion 8c protruding from the retainer part 8a toward the outside of the torque receiving face 3i; and a friction pad support 8e which is formed by folding an extension piece extending from the protrusion 8c to the disk rotor direction orthogonal to the retainer part 8a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
