The present invention pertains to a light control device and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a privacy protection device which is provided with a plurality of light control elements such that private information displayed on a display device may be protected. The method for manufacturing a light control device, according to the present invention, includes: a liquid polymer application step for applying a liquid polymer which is light transmitting and ultraviolet-curable on one surface of a light transmitting substrate; a liquid polymer press-molding step for pressing the liquid polymer with a roller mold which is engraved with the shape of a plurality of light control elements on the outer peripheral surface thereof such that the liquid polymer enters into the engraving of the mold; and a liquid polymer curing step for curing the liquid polymer by radiating ultraviolet rays at the formed liquid polymer. According to the method for manufacturing a light control device provided with a plurality of light control elements of the present invention, a superior quality light control device that can limit viewing angles in every direction may be mass-produced using molds. In particular, the light control device may be continuously mass-produced by passing the mold through a pair of press rollers or using the roller mold.
