<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for protecting an electrical circuit fed by an alternating current which can be integrated into electrical equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The device for protecting an electrical circuit fed by an alternating current comprises a housing (10) and a fuse element (16) disposed in the housing (10).
