<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine preventing a circulation route from being clogged to improve its performance. <P>SOLUTION: The drum type washing machine comprises: a water reception tank 63; a rotary drum 61 rotatably included in the water reception tank 63; a circulation pump 107 having a normally and reversely rotatable pump motor 109 for circulating washing water or discharging it to the outside; a foreign-substance capturing filter 103 provided between the water reception tank 63 and the circulation pump 107; current detection means 12 for detecting a current of the pump motor 109; and control means 16 for controlling the pump motor 109 and others and successively controlling a series of processes. In a washing water circulation process in a washing process, when a current value during an operation of the pump motor 109 is lower than a first predetermined value, the control means 16 allows the pump motor 109 to rotate in a reverse direction for a prescribed time, thereby preventing clogging of the foreign-substance capturing filter 103 to improve washing performance and rinsing performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
