<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a speed reduction ratio by an electromagnetic method. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic speed reduction mechanism 10 is constituted by arranging a high-speed rotor 1 which has a plurality of magnetic pole pairs 12 in a peripheral direction and to which turning force is transmitted from outside, a low-speed rotor 3 which has a plurality of magnetic pole pieces 31 in a peripheral direction opposite outer peripheries of the magnetic pole pairs 12, and a fixed part 2 which faces outer peripheries of the magnetic pole pieces 31 coaxially with gaps interposed respectively. The fixed part 2 has a plurality of magnetic poles 22, composed of an electromagnet for generating a revolving magnetic field, in a peripheral direction opposite the outer peripheries of the magnetic pole pieces 31, the number of the magnetic poles 22 of the fixed part 2 being one of N2-N1 and N2+N1, where N1 is the number of the magnetic pole pairs 12 of the high-speed rotor 1 and N2 is the number of the magnetic pole pieces 31 of the low-speed rotor 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
